-The Los Angeles Times is hiring a temporary news reporter on a six-month contract for its De Los initiative, which focuses on building relationships with the Latino community. Candidates should have at least two years of professional newsroom experience, including some experience writing on Latino topics or working with Latino or Spanish-language media outlets. “Fluency in Spanish is a plus,” but not required. The pay range is $31.46 to $44.98. The role is expected to start in January or February and last six months.
